Man injured by gunfire in central Toledo area
8/12/2014Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at 9:50 p.m. on Sunday night in the 1500 block of Woodland in the central city.
Darrick Smith, Sr., was shot in his left leg after an unidentified suspect produced a handgun and fired it several times during an altercation, according to an incident report from Toledo police.
Mr. Smith was taken to ProMedica Toledo Hospital and was treated for a nonlife-threatening injury.
