Man reported shot in South Toledo overnight
8/26/2014Police have charged a South Toledo man with a Monday night shooting.
Carrington Brown, 25, of 1114 Pinebrook Pkwy., is charged with felonious assault for allegedly shooting Lorenzo Grace at 7 p.m. Monday. The victim told police he was playing dice behind 5142 Norwich Rd. when he was shot once in the right leg. He was taken in a private vehicle to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio, for treatment. Police said the injuries did not appear to be life threatening.
Mr. Brown has not been arrested. He is described by police as black, 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Police ask that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
