Tragic loss of firefighters in Sunday blaze requires event to be rescheduled
1/27/2014The 'Collins Cares Celebration' event scheduled for Saturday has been postponed because of the deaths Sunday of two Toledo firefighters.

The special events committee of Mayor D. Michael Collins' transition team determined the event should be postponed out of respect to the two men killed fighting a fire in an apartment building at Huron and Magnolia streets in North Toledo. A new date for the party is to be determined next week.
