Rossford councilman slates forum
8/4/2014Councilman Jerry Staczek, who has received complaints from boaters about heavy-handed inspections by the U.S. Coast Guard on the Maumee River where Rossford has a marina, has set a meeting for 2 p.m. Aug. 14 at Forrester’s on the River, at the Docks in Toledo.
He has invited Coast Guard representatives and area public officials to attend.
“By talking with fellow boaters, civic leaders, and others from surrounding municipalities, it is abundantly clear we have a problem,” he wrote in the invitation.
