COLUMBUS — Ohioans interested in being in the audience as Gov. John Kasich takes his last State of the State address on the road for the seventh time may throw their names into a ticket lottery.
The Republican governor will deliver to members of the General Assembly his annual assessment of where the state stands at 7 p.m. on March 6 at Otterbein University’s Fritsche Theatre in his hometown of Westerville.
Those seeking tickets may submit their names until noon on Feb. 23 at governor.ohio.gov. Those selected will receive emails by Feb. 28.
The Kasich administration and General Assembly have typically made these visits daylong events. Past speeches were delivered in Sandusky, Lima, Steubenville, Medina, Wilmington, and Marietta. Only his first address was delivered at the traditional Statehouse.
