The Catholic Diocese of Toledo is accepting donations for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

More than 10,000 people were killed and thousands left without homes, clean water, food, and electricity. The diocese will accept checks, which should be made payable to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Toledo, and marked “Typhoon Haiyan.”

Rodney Schuster, director of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Toledo, said 100 percent of the donations will go directly to Catholic Relief Services to help victims of the typhoon.
