Backpacks to be blessed by church
8/11/2014The First Presbyterian Church of Perrysburg is helping the community get ready for the school year with a Backpack Blessing Service on Sunday at 10 a.m.
It is in conjunction with a backpack project to provide school supplies to local children in need.
The children who attend the church will be stuffing packs as part of their summer mission work.
The Rev. Darcy Metcalfe Mudd will be blessing the backpacks during the special service.
