Aladdin’s Eatery reopened Monday, about five weeks after a fire damaged the Talmadge Road restaurant.

Owner Nick Chamoun said the fire started when towels were ignited by burning incense. He said the extensive reconstruction included fixing the ovens, painting, and removing the smoke damage.

Mr. Chamoun said its two strip mall neighbors, Cold Stone Creamery and Great Clips, reopened the day after the fire.
