BOWLING GREEN — The city’s $700,000 project to rebuild the Haskins and Poe roads intersection will be the subject of a public meeting Friday in City Council chambers.

The project features new left-turn lanes on Haskins, which is to be closed 30 days, and new traffic signals, curbs, curb ramps, and sidewalks at the intersection. Sidewalks will be built on the west side of Haskins, part of State Rt. 64, south Poe.

The two-hour meeting starts at 11 a.m. at 304 N. Church St. Weather permitting, the Haskins Road closing will begin April 7.

Those unable to attend the open house may direct questions to City Engineer Troy Sonner at 419-354-6227 or go online to troy.sonner@bgohio.org.
