COLUMBUS — The state agency for injured workers has nearly completed the distribution of $1 billion in rebates that began this summer to Ohio employers.

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation said Thursday that the final $81.7 million will be sent to more than 2,000 employers this week.

Rebates for employers who owe the state money will be applied to those balances; employers will receive the rest of the money.
