Gov. John Kasich makes two stops in northwest Ohio this evening as his campaign for re-election begins to gear up.

At 4 p.m., Mr. Kasich greets supporters at Coffee Amici in Findlay. At 6 p.m. he'll address the Wood County Republican Party's Lincoln Day Dinner at Stone Ridge Golf Club in Bowling Green.

The Republican governor and his lieutenant governor running mate Mary Taylor are seeking a second term. Their likely Democratic opponent is Cuyahoga County Executive Ed FitzGerald and running mate Sharen Neuhardt.
