Man, 28, found shot to death on a front lawn near University of Cincinnati
8/13/2014CINCINNATI — Police say a 28-year-old man was found fatally shot on the front lawn of a home a few blocks from the University of Cincinnati campus.
The body of Kelvin Johnson was found in front of an apartment building early Wednesday in the Clifton Heights neighborhood, a few blocks south of UC’s Uptown campus.
He was shot once in the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the shooting happened just after midnight.
Police said Johnson is not a UC student and is not from the area.
The investigation was continuing. Police say they are looking for a black SUV.
