AKRON — NBA star LeBron James has joined an Akron family on a tour of their home, which he and his foundation helped to fix.
The LeBron James Family Foundation partnered with reality TV show host Nicole Curtis on the eight-day renovation project.
The remodel included a new kitchen, bathroom, redecorated interior, landscaping and the installation of central air conditioning. Work on the house will be featured later this year on Curtis’ show “Rehab Addict” on the HGTV network.
The Akron Beacon Journal reports that 11-year-old Mariah Riley won the home makeover in a drawing of sixth-graders in James’ Wheels for Education program.
After touring their newly renovated home on Sunday, Riley and her two brothers shot baskets with James and his sons, LeBron Jr. and Bryce.
