Rockets bounced by Drexel, 65-52, in 1st round of Glass City Tournament

Toledo struggled shooting today in a 65-52 loss to Drexel in the first round of the Glass City Tournament.

The Rockets, opening their season against last year's Women's National Invitation Tournament champion, shot just 19 percent on 3-pointers (4 of 21) and 34.8 percent from the free-throw line (8 of 23).

Inma Zanoguera and Janice Monakana scored 11 points a piece for Toledo, which will play Mississippi Valley State on Sunday.

Villanova topped Mississippi Valley State, 87-53, in the first game of the tournament.
