Inma Zanoguera's transition 3-point try was off the mark as time expired, and the University of Toledo women fell 81-79 at home today to No. 18 Purdue.

The Rockets (1-2) cut the deficit to one point three times in the final four-plus minutes but never took the lead.

Andola Dortch's 22 points paced five Rockets in double figures. Joining her were Janice Monakana (15 points), Janelle Reed-Lewis (14), Brianna Jones (12) and Zanoguera (11).

Jones, making her season debut and her first career start, finished with a career high in points.

Purdue (3-0) was led by Courtney Moses' 30 points. The Boilermakers shot 10 of 24 from behind the arc with Moses and KK Houser accounting for four makes a piece.
