Toledo gets new running backs coach
1/18/2014Sam Houston State running backs coach Anthony Johnson has accepted the same position at the University of Toledo.
Johnson tutored Bearkats running back Timothy Flanders who ran for 1,430 and 1,642 yards respectively the past two seasons. Flanders rushed for 31 touchdowns.
Sam Houston State advanced to the second round of the FCS playoffs this season.
Johnson is a 2005 Texas graduate.
