UT women blown out at home by Akron

The University of Toledo women's basketball team suffered the worst home loss in coach Tricia Cullop's six seasons tonight, falling 82-62 to Akron.

The Rockets (9-10, 4-4) went down by as many as 29 points in the second half.

Freshman Janice Monakana was the lone bright spot, contributing 10 points and nine rebounds.

Akron (11-8, 5-3) got 23 points from Hanna Luburgh, and 17 points and 11 rebounds from Rachel Tecca.
