    The University of Toledo scored the first 11 points of today's rivalry game against Bowling Green and never trailed in securing an 83-76 decision at Savage Arena.

    Justin Drummond led the Rockets (19-3, 7-2) with 22 points and Rian Pearson added 16. Drummond was 10 of 11 from the free-throw line.

    BG (10-12, 4-5) cut its deficit to one-possession six times in the second half. Each time UT responded with a bucket — five of them on a 3-pointer or a three-point play.

    Jehvon Clarke and Anthony Henderson had 23 points a piece for BG.
