Miami shot 30 percent from the field and trailed at halftime by 16 points. ... The Rockets have won 10 of 11 in this series, though Miami holds a 16-12 edge in games played at Millett Hall. ... UT, which has dropped two in a row, is among three teams tied for third in the MAC West. ... Miami, winners of two of three, are in fourth in the East. ... On Sunday, when UT fell at home to Bowling Green, Miami used 20 points from Jillian Spurlock to win at Eastern Michigan 71-65. Spurlock added seven boards and three assists. Hannah McCue had 10 points and 13 boards.
