Lemons departs Toledo basketball team

    Sophomore guard Josh Lemons is leaving the University of Toledo basketball team.

    News of his departure comes one week after the Rockets exceeded their scholarship limit by one in acquiring Baltimore point guard Kamau Stokes.

    Lemons, of Cincinnati, redshirted this season after appearing in 27 games as a freshman. A defensive specialist, Lemons averaged 1.0 points in 14.1 minutes.
