The Toledo Walleye suffered a 7-3 loss to the Cincinnati Cyclones at the Huntington Center tonight.
The Walleye scored twice on the power play in the final period as David Gilbert scored at 9:35 and Maxim Shalunov scored just before the final buzzer. Sylvania native Alden Hirschfeld scored the Walleye's first goal at 5:52 of the second period.
Cincinnati's third-period goal was scored by Anthony Luciani.
Cyclones goalie Rob Madore finished with 32 saves while Toledo's Hannu Toivonen stopped 30 shots.
Toledo fell to 8-15-3-0 on the season while Cincinnati now is 18-8-1-1.
