RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi Arabia’s aviation authority says 29 people have been injured in an accident involving one of its state carrier’s jetliners after a landing gear failure.
General Authority for Civil Aviation spokesman Khaled bin Abdullah Khaybari told the official Saudi Press Agency that the Saudi Arabian Airlines flight from Iran suffered a landing gear failure prior to landing early Sunday at Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in the western city of Medina.
Khaybari told the news agency the Boeing 767-300 plane was carrying 315 passengers.
