GOLDEN, Colo. — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.2 has been reported off the coast of Jalisco, Mexico.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the tremor was at 5:54 a.m. today. The epicenter was 187 miles southwest of Puerto Vallarta.
There were no immediate reports of damage. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said the tremor did not generate a tsunami alert.
