It didn’t take long for a brewery in England to release a beer in honor of the newest addition to the royal family. The name? “Heir Raiser.”

Like the rest of the world -- and its savvy entrepreneurs -- McMullen & Sons brewery in Hertford waited “eagerly” for the birth of the baby before releasing its latest brew.

Heir Raiser is a 4 percent ale described as a “light coloured, crisp refreshing pint with a light, hoppy finish,” reports trade publication The Drinks Business.

The McMullen & Sons brewery operates 135 pubs across the UK.

Over at the Duchess of Cambridge pub in Windsor, Berkshire, punters have been raising a glass of Heir Raiser since news of the baby boy’s birth was announced Monday.

It’s not the first time the royal couple has inspired a new brew. To fete their wedding in 2011, Castle Rock Brewery in Nottingham released bottled beers they called Kiss Me Kate.
