  • ‘Without a centralized storefront per se, it could be tempting to use a joke like ‘follow the breadcrumbs’ to find places to purchase delicious All Crumbs Artisan Bakery offerings. But no one leaves any crumbs of the All Crumbs Pretzel Croissant.

    No one. None.

With a salty almost lacquered crunch and cumulonimbus insides, the pretzel croissant was first sold to an unsuspecting population in order to enslave them to it when baker autodidact Dan Muszynski helped open All Crumbs in 2013.

This laminated style of of croissants and pastries is done all by hand and takes three days to render properly.

Addicts… er… customers, flock to the Toledo Farmers Market every Saturday to buy theirs and whatever else Dan has on the board that day; enormously popular cheese Danish, sub rolls, dinner rolls perfect for Thanksgiving, etc. Most tables open for business at about 9 a.m. Most are not basically ready to leave at 10 a.m.

    Dan was.

But he saved us some samples and talked us through the details of how he makes his simple croissant into something extraordinary.

All Crumbs Bakery breads and pastries are offered in a number of coffee shops, restaurants, delis, bars, and grocers. But it’s probably easiest to get them in your home by visiting the Toledo Farmers Market — early — or putting in a pick-up order through their online store or dropping a message through Facebook.
