Band: Duane Malinowski Orchestra

Lineup: Toledo Native and Nashville Recording Artist, Accordian and Vocalist Extradionaire.

Year formed:  1974.

Style of music:  Performs many styles: country, polka, big band, jazz, fifties, Italian, Tejano (ability to sing in five languages).

Sounds a little like: Dean Martin, Jerry Vale, George Strait, Alabama, Conway Twitty, Charlie Daniels.

Influences: All the above plus world renowned jazz accordionist Tony Dannon (Detroit, Mich.), Art Van Dame, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Brenda Lee, Bobby Vinton.

Favorite Local Venue: All of them! Perform at many local festivals, private parties, etc.

CDs/online releases: Not just Monkeying Around, One Good Piece After Another, Wanted, Buttons Galore, Shocked, From My Heart To Yours, How It All Began, Christmas Hope, A Little Bit Of Love, Ladies Choice, Callin' All Cowgirls.

Upcoming gigs: June 12 at St. Cabrini Fest, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; July 9 at Lagrange Polish Fest, Toledo; July 15 at Maumee Elks, Maumee; July 29 at All Saints Fest, Rossford; and Sept. 4 at Peach, Perch, Pierogi Festival, Port Clinton.
