Networking event set for area business owners

A group that encourages companies to expand their business through bartering or trade will hold a free networking event next week in Toledo.

Metro Trading Association of Troy, Mich., will hold a “Hot for Trade” social mixer/​networking event on Thursday at Manhattan’s Restaurant, 1516 Adams St.

Area business owners are invited “to learn how barter can be not only a great way to bring in new customers, but to free up cash for their business needs,” according to the company.

The event will be held from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. RSVP by Feb. 12 to 419-842-0000.
