A Toledo roofing company has been fined $41,800 after federal regulators observed multiple safety violations at a work site.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration said Fry’s Roofing and Construction failed to ensure that employees using pneumatic nail guns wore eye protection, and did not protect employees from falls by using guardrail systems, safety nets, or other measures.

The citations stemmed from a Pemberton Drive job site in Toledo, which investigators visited in August.

The company had 15 working days from the citation to contest the findings.
