Agricultural Hall of Fame nominations due
7/7/2014Thursday is the deadline for submitting nominations for the Fulton County Agricultural Hall of Fame Award.
Potential nominees would include a farmer or breeder who has made a major contribution to the land or to animal husbandry or someone who has worked in an agriculture-related activity or agribusiness.
Application forms are available at fulton.osu.edu or at the Fulton County Extension Office, 8770 State Rt. 108, Wauseon. The phone number is 419-337-9210.
The award will be presented at a dinner in mid-August. Past recipients will be invited. Induction is the highest recognition awarded in the agricultural community of the county. Pictures of recipients will be on display at the Fulton County Fair. Photos and biographies of the latest recipients also are on display in the foyer of the Robert Fulton Agriculture Center at the extension office.
