Waterville police are looking for an armed robber who stole cash and cigarettes from the Marathon station, 222 Mechanic St., Monday morning.
A man with a black handgun entered the station at about 9:09 a.m. and demanded money from the attendant. He then reportedly hit the attendant on the head with the weapon and fled in a vehicle with a loud exhaust system.
The suspect is described as a white male with tattoos on his neck who stands 6 feet, 2 inches to 6 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs about 250 pounds. He wore a white hooded jacket, a Detroit Tigers cap, a black shirt, baggy blue jeans, sunglasses, and black gloves.
