Fearing Boulevard to close on Saturday

Tree work will close a major South Toledo street for about eight hours Saturday.

Fearing Boulevard will be closed at the railroad underpasses south of Hill Avenue for tree trimming and clearing from 7 a.m. until about 3 p.m., city officials said. Traffic will be detoured west on either Hill or Airport Highway to Byrne Road. Hawley Street is the next closest alternative to the east.
