An inmate at the Lucas County jail was indicted Wednesday by a Lucas County grand jury for felonious assault stemming from an attack on another inmate.

Archie Fobbs, 24, of 30 W. Weber St. is accused of punching and stomping Austin Johnson, 21, of Maumee on Oct. 12 in a common area at the jail shortly after Johnson was booked on charges relating to the robbery of a Tim Hortons in Holland.

Johnson was hospitalized after the attack but has since returned to the jail, where he is separated from Fobbs.
