COLUMBUS — The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has approved upgrade of three rail crossings in Henry County.

The projects include installing active grade-crossing warning devices at the Oakwood, Woodlawn, and Haley avenue grade crossings. Funding for the improvements will come from the State Grade Crossing Safety Fund and will not exceed $5,000. PUCO’s agreement with Michigan Southern Railway and the city of Napoleon in Henry County for three rail crossing projects was approved Oct. 23. The railroad has a year to complete the upgrades.
