Visitation, Mass arranged for teen who inspired town

PORT CLINTON — A visitation and funeral Mass will take place this week for a Port Clinton boy whose battle with cancer inspired the town to celebrate Christmas early.

The visitation for Devin Kohlman, 13, of Port Clinton, who died Monday evening, will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 414 Madison St. in Port Clinton.

The funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, according to the Port Clinton Police Department.

Port Clinton residents united to decorate the city for Christmas and perform other kind acts, such as a pep rally, in honor of the boy.
