A Toledo man who admitted to sex trafficking of a minor was sentenced Friday to more than 16 years in prison.

Duane Hill, 26, was ordered to spend 200 months behind bars by U.S. District Court Judge James Carr for conspiracy to use a facility of interstate commerce to promote a business enterprise involving prostitution, sex trafficking of a minor, and obstructing the sex-trafficking investigation.

Hill had pleaded guilty last May to the charges.

Federal prosecutors said Hill conspired with others to post pictures online that were used to arrange meetings with prostitutes at Toledo motels.

Hill would drive the prostitute to the motel and share in the proceeds.

On Aug. 8. 2012, he drove a 16-year-old girl to a Toledo motel for prostitution, then lied about his involvement to investigators with the Northwest Ohio Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force, prosecutors said.
