2 local men arraigned over theft at high school

Two men were arraigned and ordered held in the Lucas County jail after being accused of breaking into a high school and cracking a kitchen safe.

Robert Myrice II, 41, of 1957 W. Alexis Rd., and Aaron Eschmann, 45, of 5728 Rudyard Rd., Sylvania, are charged with safecracking and burglary.

Both men appeared in Toledo Municipal Court on Thursday. Bond for Mr. Myrice was set at $150,000; bond for Mr. Eschmann was set at $200,000.

According to court records, the two allegedly broke into St. Francis de Sales High School, 2323 W. Bancroft St., on Saturday. Once inside, they cut a hallway lock, pried open two doors of the school’s kitchen safe, and stole $1,000, police allege.
