BOWLING GREEN — A Toledo man convicted of assaulting a Walbridge woman in her home was put on community control for three years Wednesday and ordered to complete a treatment program at the Northwest Community Corrections Center.

Clint Hill, 32, of 557 South Ave. pleaded guilty Nov. 18 in Wood County Common Pleas Court to a felony charge of domestic violence stemming from the June 16 incident. As part of a plea agreement, Judge Reeve Kelsey dismissed charges of burglary and abduction.

Judge Kelsey said Hill was to have no contact with the victim without her consent and ordered him to complete anger management and domestic violence counseling.

Hill was arrested in Elyria, Ohio, in August after police, acting on a Facebook tip, found him leaving a closet at an Elyria home where he had been staying.
