1 lane of traffic reopens after Jack-knifed tractor-trailer shuts down part of southbound I-75

One lane has been reopened on southbound I-75 at Sterns Road two hours after a semi-truck jack-knifed just before reaching the Ohio line, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.

No injuries were reported in the incident which occurred at about 10 a.m., according to sheriff officials.

Sheriff officials are still on the scene as work crews attempt to remove the semi from the highway, officials said. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.

The accident is still under investigation.
