180th Fighter Wing announces night training flights

SWANTON — The 180th Fighter Wing of the Ohio Air National Guard will conduct night training flights through Thursday, starting today.

Residents may hear or see the F-16 fighter jets taking off and landing until about 10 p.m. on each night. Training flights normally take place during daylight hours, but pilots are required to conduct night training sessions to maintain overall readiness.
