Ottawa Park ice rink set to close for season
3/8/2014Sunday will be the final ice-skating day of the season at Toledo’s Ottawa Park ice rink.
The rink is scheduled to be open today from 1 to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. The Sunday hours could be canceled if warm weather compromises the ice quality.
Admission is $4, or $2.50 for seniors holding Golden Buckeye Cards.
The rink faces an uncertain future with the Collins administration’s 2014 budget proposal unveiled providing no funds for its operation next winter.
