Monroe County historian to talk early settlers

The River Raisin National Battlefield Park will hold a presentation by Monroe County historian Ralph Naveaux called “The Habitants of Frenchtown” at 1 p.m. March 30.

Mr. Naveaux will give a presentation on living conditions more than 200 years ago for the settlers of what today is the Monroe area. His discussion will include lifestyles, customs, clothing, and food. The event is free.
