Summer hours have returned to the River Raisin National Battlefield Park, said Superintendent Scott Bentley. The visitor center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week, with the grounds open from sunrise to sunset.

Pets must be kept on a leash and picked up after. Digging, collecting, or removing artifacts or natural objects is prohibited, as are metal detectors, overnight parking or camping, and fires without a permit. Animals cannot be fed, disturbed, handled, or hunted. Firearms cannot be on the battlefield or in buildings without a permit.
