Toledo Zoo wins voting for USA Today listings
5/22/2014The Toledo Zoo clinched a title from USA Today on Wednesday as the best zoo in the United States, according to Web voting.
Twenty nominees vied for the title in USA Today Travel’s 10Best Readers’ Choice contest. Voting ended Monday.
Three other Ohio zoos made the top 20 list: Cincinnati was third, Columbus was fifth, and Cleveland was 12th. Contest results are at 10best.com/awards/travel/best-us-zoo.
