Pop singer Katy Perry has donated two VIP tickets and an opportunity to meet her backstage at a Midwestern concert to a Toledo charity that helps homeless veterans secure housing.

Veterans Matter is auctioning the package on eBay through July 30.

“Katy’s huge heart and compassion for those in need is well documented. Homeless veterans are being beaten, robbed, and even killed on the streets of our nation, yet if that happened behind enemy lines, we would be outraged,” said Ken Leslie, founder of Veterans Matter.

The winning bidder of the “Shine a Light with Katy Perry” prize package will choose among upcoming concerts in Detroit, Cleveland, Columbus, Chicago, or Grand Rapids, Mich.

Since it was founded in 2012, Veterans Matter has raised $350,000 and housed more than 350 veterans in six states, in part with aid from John Mellencamp, Dusty Hill, Kid Rock, Willie Nelson, Ice-T, Stevie Nicks, and Mitch Albom.
