Several roads to close for resurfacing, repairs
8/18/2014Wilkins Road will become the latest of several Lucas County roads to undergo repair of its bridge over the Ohio Turnpike after it closes today.
Wilkins will be closed for about 21 days between Airport Highway and Shaffer Road, with traffic detoured via State Rt. 295, the Lucas County Engineer’s office announced.
Near downtown Toledo, meanwhile, Madison Avenue’s eastbound lanes will be closed today through Friday between Woodruff Avenue and 11th Street for resurfacing, while the intersection of Elm and Dexter streets will be closed today and Tuesday for utility work.
