Organizers of the German-American Festival are seeking help to solve two crimes that occurred at last weekend’s event.

A wood-carved cuckoo clock valued at $1,700 was stolen from the grounds of Oak Shade Grove in Oregon on Sunday night after vendors had closed their booths.

Also, a trailer used by the music group Euro Express was broken into while parked at an area hotel and the band equipment was stolen.

“Through our heavy use of social media and the huge amount of exposure that we get, we are hoping that the stolen goods will be recovered. We ask the community to keep their ears and eyes open, and if they hear anything to please let us know,” said Tim Pecsenye, festival chairman.

Anyone with information is asked to call Oregon Police at 419-698-7064.
