Lourdes University gets set for Christmas event

Canticle Center at Lourdes University in Sylvania will host its annual “Santa, St. Francis and the Animals” event Saturday.

Families are invited to Lourdes University to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus for the annual “Santa, St. Francis and the Animals” event.

Lourdes University’s Science Alliance for Valuing the Environment, Inc., is hosting the afternoon of Christmas cheer from 2-4 p.m. Saturday in the Canticle Center, 5335 Silica Dr., Sylvania.

Crafts, face painting, and cookies baked by the Christ Child Society will be available. Participants can take a photo with Santa.

The event is free and open to the public.
