Sewer work to affect Oregon’s Arthur Street

Storm sewer replacement is expected to begin next week along Arthur Street in Oregon.

Work includes replacing two storm drains with a larger storm sewer and installation of yard drains. Work should last two to three weeks, with pavement restoration and grass seeding planned for spring.

Drives will be blocked at times. The city said it and the contractor will give advance notice, and emergency access will stay open.

Owners should notify the city of unmarked underground improvements.
