Refuse, recycling dropoff takes place Saturday

Tires, electronic waste, and other items will be accepted for refuse or recycling Saturday at Longfellow Elementary School.

The next city-sponsored refuse and recycling dropoff is set for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Longfellow Elementary School, 1955 W. Laskey Rd.

Residents may drop off electronic waste, up to 10 tires on or off the rim, paper, housewares, clothing, toys, bulk items, and refuse. Latex paint will be accepted for $1 per gallon. Televisions, air conditioners, refrigerators, and other large appliances will not be accepted.
