Authorities ID man killed in West Toledo fire

Authorities on Tuesday identified Paul Hudson, Jr., as the victim of Sunday’s fatal apartment fire in West Toledo.

Mr. Hudson, 50, was pronounced dead at 7:07 p.m. at ProMedica Toledo Hospital, said Dr. James Patrick, Lucas County coroner. The case is being investigated as death from the fire, with the final ruling pending results of toxicology tests, Dr. Patrick said.

The victim was taken to the hospital about 6:53 p.m. from the scene of an apartment fire at 5055 Jamieson Dr. at Miracle Manor Apartments, Lucas County EMS said.  

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
